Motivation: “The 2012 Pedagogical prize at Umeå School of Business (USBE) has been awarded Assistant Professor Mattias Jacobsson. Jacobsson, active at the Department of Business Administration, is awarded the prize owing to the way he in which has been able to combine scientific knowledge with an excellent understanding of the students and their learning. He has, with innovative thinking and responsiveness, developed courses that have given students a good understanding of, and confidence in, areas such as project management.
