I think it is a sign that we have done something right. Today, my former doctoral student Virginia Rosales was announced as the WINNER of the 2018 Emerald/EFMD Outstanding Doctoral Research Awards (ODRA). 

Apart from the honor each winner gets €1,000 and is offered  to publish their research in the sponsoring journal. In case of Virigina, that is Journal of Health Organisation and Management.
